About the Author:

Sandy Briggs became a mother at a very young age, and her two sons were born in less than optimal circumstances. Fortunately, the grandparents stepped in and helped and her two sons grew up just fine. Sandy was a career coach for many years and became fascinated by how people learn, think, and are motivated. She began studying the increasing mass of research on early brain development, seeking answers to the questions of what parents need to know and what they need to do. This book grew out of her search for the answers to these questions.
